Love is unconditional. Life gives us conditions, so we can love them.

This sentence comes from my Mentor Rick Smith. I just came home from my seventh workshop with him. He normally only teaches in Bali, but he decided to make a stopover in Lisbon to reconnect with some of his students who are living here now.

Rick is one of the best facilitators out there. The spaces he creates are safe, Trauma-informed, and welcoming. The qualities I am aiming to create in my work as well. Even though the content he is teaching isn't new to me - I heard the sentences about Love several times - it always takes me deeper within myself and I can find new parts of myself to welcome and integrate.

That's something I am realizing more and more, it's not so much about the content anymore. We can all inform ourselves thanks to ebooks, YouTube, and Co. It's about the experiences of being welcomed, being truly seen, and showing up with all of ourselves- the ugly, the beauty, the shame, the glory.

I want to share with you some of the insights I had during the one-day workshop:

  • We all struggle with life and with old stories we once created about ourselves. If we learn to acknowledge them; bringing them out of the shadow into the light of acceptance, we can free ourselves from them
  • We all want to be seen and acknowledged
  • We all want to experience true and safe connections and we are becoming our best version when we experience them
  • Sharing my old stories and ideas about myself creates more space for love to enter
  • It's much harder to say something nice about myself than something negative
  • I can hold myself in my deepest pain and I don't need to run away from it
  • If one of my parts says no to something, it's a no.
  • Any „negative" emotion is just a part that requires attention and love from grown-up me and that's not scary. It’s something beautiful (and called re-parenting if you want to learn more about it)
  • Cuddle Puddles after authentic relating are AMAZING!!
  • Even if what person XYZ is saying about me is true, I can still love myself because my love for me is unconditional

The biggest takeaway is that I am on the right path. What I am offering is truly impactful and can change the lives of so many people. This practice changed my life and made me a healthy, kinder, and well-connected human. That’s what I am wishing for everyone.

I am wishing for you to come to the conclusion that who you are; the ugly, the beauty, the shame, the glory, all of your parts are loveable, and that life is here to be fully experienced. I realized how much my unhealed Trauma, old stories, patterns, and insecurities were holding me back and that- as long as I am choosing to buy into them- my life will be controlled by them.

We are mostly looking for freedom outside of ourselves and don’t recognize how much we hold ourselves hostage with old patterns, thoughts, insecurities, and destructive emotions.

Want to break out? ↓ Helping men and women to change the stories they are buying into and learn to let go of the old patterns they are repeating over and over again in dating and their relationships is a true passion and mission of mine. I love working with people one-on-one, digging in deep, and really tackling tough issues. That’s why I’m currently opening up four one-on-one coaching spots for FREE. I had six available but when I notified my customers about this last night, two of them were shoved up right away!

If you’ve been thinking that I could help you take your relationship and dating experience to the next level (as I’ve done in my own life) and help you craft a life that serves you, just respond to this email and I’ll get back to you right away with more information about how to be one of the four people to work with me personally.

Yours truly, Silja
